Before joining Investhouse in 2022, Wilma completed her SAICA traineeship in 2010 and spent a total of 16 years at SNG Grant Thornton (previously Grant Thornton) where she gained experience in various roles. She progressed from audit supervisor to financial manager, and then to senior accountant, outsourced accountant, and payroll administrator. Wilma was a founding member of the cloud-based accounting services division, assisted with the integration of Xero Cloud based accounting and regularly attends training to ensure that the service offering remains relevant and up to date. She is responsible for digital accounting services of the firm and is an expert in the drafting of annual financial statements for clients whose accountants are prohibited under section 90 of the Companies’ Act. She is the internal accountant of the firm, reporting to the management and the professional director. This ensures that our clients are provided with the same reporting as the Firm does.
